About Us: Our ARG Story
ARG: Africa Risen Group is a movement that was established in September 2017, with an objective of driving Radical Economic Transformation in South Africa, and later in Africa.
This is done through mobilizing ordinary black people to come together and collectively save money towards establishing businesses, to socially and economically transform their lives radically, in a responsible and sustainable manner. Thus TOGETHER creating a legacy for their future generations.
The ARG movement was born after a cold realization that after over 25 years into democracy, only 23% of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange lays in the hands of black people, thus 77% of the economy in the hands of less than 10% of the population.

As black people we have realized that we can have a rainbow nation that Tata Mandela wanted, however no one will completely transform our lives, but ourselves. For many years we hoped for radical Economic Transformation to happen, but can no longer stand and wait for change to happen. We too deserve real Economic Freedom, and need it in our lifetime. We have for a long time undermined our power as a people, but now we have woken up. Africa Has Risen!!

Due to injustices of the past, majority of black people do not have the luxury of trust funds or inheritance to establish big businesses. Most of us individually do not have billions of rands, but together we can raise billions. Our hundred rands saved together will give us power to establish Black Owned Businesses which will yield Radical Economic Transformation, and truly emancipate us.

We operate and have ARG Communities in all nine provinces of South Africa. We are also growing our footprint in other African countries, i.e. Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Malawi and Nigeria. We are also reaching out to African Diasporas, and currently having a well established ARG Community in Abu Dhabi and establishing more ARG Communities in the UK, Canada and USA
